Newbie! Have a quick question.

Hello from Northern Michigan! I have a 4.5 yr old who is outgrowing her Marathon (heightwise) I am seriously considering the Frontier85, especially now that BRU is having a sale. My question is on the "Great Trade In" Our local Toys R Us has a HORRIBLE selection of seats, can I trade a seat in and use the 25% on an online order(Same day of course)?? I suppose I could ask them, but I figured Im not the only one with a tiny Toys R Us and Im hours from a BRU. Thanks. I look forward to coming in and checking out what's new etc. Nice to meet you! Sorry one more question, would you get a GN for an almost five year old? She is 40+ lbs and 43inches tall? Again really good deal if I do the Trade-in. The GN would be for Hubby's vehicle. Currently driving a 2005 ody and he has a 2000 Chevy ext. cab. Thanks Again!!

I'd definitely harness a 4.5 year old, rather than booster. So a Nautilus/Argos, Frontier, or Evenflo SecureKid would be fine. You need to buy in store, though I've heard of people going up to the counter in store that day, and having BRU order it for you while you stand there and pay for it, if they have it online but not physically in the store. I hope someone will come and confirm or deny that for me, though.

I know another poster was saying she could find the same seat for as cheap as using the coupon on-line. We bought our frontier on-line last year in April and got it for $199 and it was less then a month old when we got it. So I would check on-line prices and compare them to the bru price with coupon.

Target just had the nautilu on-line the other week for $125, so I would check around for it also. But also make sure the whole base will fit on the seat of the truck. The nautilus has a rule that the whole base needs to sit on the seat.

I may have a Target rain check for a Nautilus you can use. I don't think we'll need it (I got it in case our online order fell thru).

LMK and I will mail it to you.

I thought that if used with the harness that Graco now allows a 20% overhang for the Nautilus?

Another vote for checking online prices elsewhere and comparing to TRU with coupon. TRU and BRU prices are often so inflated that even with a 25% off coupon other places have a better regular price.

Thank You Ladies!! I appreciate it so much. I just saw the Nauti at our Target for 125$ that seems like a pretty good deal. Hubby's truck has
a full size seat in the back. I will measure to be certain, but I think that the Nauti will fit...hopefully. If not it's back to the drawing board. I really appreciate the help. Im still stuck for my van though. I think I really want the FR85, I hear so many great things about it. I really want to harness her for as long as possible. Thanks Again. I will keep you posted on my hunt.
