If the headrest can't go up a notch? It's very close to hitting that big black plastic piece that runs between the car door and the rear window.

Is there a lower-profile seat? We bought this one a week ago and can take it back for up to 90 days.

Thanks!

Do you have vehicle head rests in the Cavalier?

I'm pretty sure the answer is no. You can see the back of the seat in the picture and it just stays right at that height all the way across. There's a small difference of less than an inch where it dips in the center.

Maybe I just need to sell both cars and get a minivan. :)

I can see that the headrest is going to hit the side of the vehicle if you move it up, and he really needs to have it raised.

Do you have a lap/shoulder belt in the center? If so, move him to the center - you will have no problem moving the headrest up there.

If not, hopefully others will chime in about a lower profile booster. I have very little booster experience.

Try a Vivo its the only seat that has been able to be rasied all the way in my 95 Civic and be able to fit the bucket seats. I forget how tall the belt guide is at least 20 maybe 21 and it is 32 inches tall over all. I can take pics of the Vivo in the Civic if needed.
pic of Vivo all the way up in 95 honda civic 2 door

Is the Vivo deep? How wide is it?

Sport Track is almost too big for the Parkway, but it's all that Babies R Us had that we could afford and worked for him.

I think that I'll have to order the Vivo off the 'net. :( I'd much rather see it in person and see him in it. He's like his daddy and very tall/slim.

Its not really that deep, but the way it slopes down in the front helps. I don't know were my tape measure is but the sheet with the measurements has it all on there. I'll find the link and post it for you.

We moved the headrest up a couple of notches. It worked! It looks like he'll have room at least until the next growth spurt. I'm much happier with where his head is in the headrest now.
