My sister is not into car seats. However she said she would love to have this seat so that she can buy the separate bases. Her children ride in various cars and I have to agree re-installing everyday gets old.

Sister is a DIE HARD bucket seat user. Her babies live in them for the first couple of months. Anything that would get them out of the bucket cant be that bad;)

But, for the price of the initial seat for $300, plus $99 for each base, a person could just buy multiple seats for each vehicle.

The people I know of who choose the easiest way to move seats into various vehicles, buy their 2 and 3 year olds $20 backless boosters. I really don't think that sort of person is going to be shelling out $500+ for a car seat and various bases.

I do see this seat as a great competitor of the orbit, but the orbit not very popular.

I told her that as well. Like 6 sceneras or 3 myrides (what she has for her girls now)

My mom does have this habit of taking the seats out of her car when the babies are not with her. Maybe she would leave them alone if no one could see the base when she drives by. She has a convertible and is quite proud of the fact.

I mean i'm interested but not for 300 dollars I could buy almost 3 MR's or one MA70. I only have one car. Nobody else takes my child. I only have one of them. But for my moms car would probably be good cause she has 2 other grandchildren one is 2 and one is 6 (but hes small)

Sad and Suprised to say it... but I think Evenflo did better with the symphony and then symphony 65.

Sorry, Graco... you can't do both... an all-in-1 AND a seat with multiple bases... and not have some issues.

I think they need to scrap the release date and make it two separate seats... one... a convertible seat with no-rethread harness and adjustable headrest that can be moved from base to base (since parents ask for it), but lighter weight.

and two... a seat that is basically a Nautilus, but also can be a rearfacing seat.

But at the end of the day, I'm pretty impressed with the current lineup of infant seats, the graco myride (though I'd still like to see a taller comfortsport, since it's so nice and narrow), the Nautilus, and the Turboboosters.

I'd like to see them concentrate more on the turbos going taller, latch compatible options, and more body support... but really, I don't see this seat (especially with it so heavy) being that great. I'm also not sure how it will do as a booster, just because of how it is designed by the armrests, where the lapbelt would route.
