Equinox has the same back seat. We have a 2010 GMC Terrain. Same problem as the pics in your other post. We are looking to get rid of it and get a Tahoe.

Awww, what a cutie you have. Now that I look at your backseat in your pic, it looks awfully familiar.

If we just had two kiddos or less I could work around its issues but I am kinda stuck. My DH says this will probably curb my seat buying issues though.

Yes, the start is narrow. I did a 3 across in a Neon. 3 radians just fit. Well, one kid outgrew the radian. I put my start in there, and it fit. He needed help buckling, of course.
