My daughter in a semi

I have a daughter 2yrs 9months my husband just got a new job driving a semi. Can I put my daughters car seat in the semi and she be safe in it?

Is your daughter rear-facing or forward-facing? Are there airbags? (I'm guessing no, but I honestly don't know.) Is there a top tether available?

Chances are there's a way to do it, although likely not as safely as preferred. (For example, a forward-facing seat can probably be installed, but likely without the top tether, which adds considerable safety.)

Besides the safety issue, there are some practical issues to consider. Does the employer allow passengers? Passengers who are minors? Does insurance allow it? How long would the child be traveling? (That's not a safety issue, but toddlers and long road trips often don't go together well, at least not without lots of breaks, which might cut into a delivery schedule.)
