Lost the recline bar

what do I do?
Will Britax send me another one? Do I have to pay??
It weas installed in my mom's car and she took it out and doesnt know where it went
I am going to sell it soon and now I cant till I get one.

They might: they sent me a free replacement for my Husky a couple years ago.... You'll have to call to find out -- hopefully you can find yours, though

They tried to charge me $30 plus shipping when I called. (I told them to forget it, because it was for the Husky and I didn't really need it.)

$30+, yikes, that sounds way too high. The recline bar is $8 plus shipping on Britax's site at http://www.britaxusa.com/shopping/parts.aspx It would be about $17 for me to order one and ship it to Michigan, not free, but not $30+ either. LOL this disclaimer in the recline bar description on the Regent parts page cracks me up: "Seat NOT included."

Yeah, it was right after the new requirements came out, and they were getting a LOT of "OMG I lost my recline bar" phone calls. She kept telling me over and over that my Husky wasn't affected and I didn't NEED one. I really think she just didn't want to send me one, period!
