I have a ff bv70 installed ff in a 98 Sierra ext cab with locking latch plates. I put it in a few weeks ago and bypassed the lockoffs. It was rock the car solid. Yesterday I noticed that it had about 1/2" movement. The only explanation I can think of is that it is slipping a bit. I tightened it back down and plan to check it again in a few days. Can I use the lockoffs to solve this issue in the short term? Is it really a safety problem if the latch plate slips a little in terms of having an adult passenger in that spot?
Other possibly relevant info: I already have a retrofitted tt in this spot but I haven't had the seatbelts inspected.
