Lightweight seats that allow 30 degree rf for toddlers?

It looks like the tribute and scenera both require 45 degree recline for rf, regardless of the age of the child. I have an almost 12 month old who prefers to be more upright and am trying to find the best travel seat to keep Jim happy on the plane. Any other seat suggestions (we would install the new seat in dh's car, so it would get limited use around town as well)-- or can I maybe install a tribute closer to 30 deg just for our desperate plane rides?

What's your price range? There are some pricier seats that allow more upright installs, like the Maxi-Cosi Pria, Peg Perego Convertible, Britax convertibles, and the Diono Radian convertibles with the angle adjuster accessory. The Dorel (Safety 1st, Cosco, Eddie Bauer) convertibles with dual recline lines on the sides of the carseats allow more upright installs, but you have to search out those seats. Where I'm at, I'm still not seeing them consistently, but I know they're available in other places.

If you're searching for a strictly travel seat, stick with either the Tribute or Scenera. There's only so much space on an airplane and you get the recline that you get .
