Re: Want to see the Clek Oober HBB?

Well, if you change the title can I ask about the britax ppt slide four? What's with the energy absorbing base? and the "lowered" EPS foam?

I changed the title ;).
The lower EPS foam is the foam piece that goes under the legs. The are not putting "Do not discard" on them since many people are throwing them away. I do not recall for sure about the Energy absorbing base. I will have to look at the manual.

I promise I'm not TRYING to derail (this is seriously not worthy of it's own thread. . .yet). I got distracted looking at all the powerpoints. . .

Did you see the NEW SHADE OF GRAY for the Graco Nautilus that's coming out in July????

Thanks for posting this AZgirl :)

I think that's the "Reese" cover that we've already seen...Maybe there's still hope for the girly cover?

Actually the energy absorbing bases have been around for over a year now as has the "Do Not Discard" on the EPS foam under the legs. They talked about it at Lifesavers last year but I guess it was a phase in thing with the convertibles so that is why they rementioned it this year.

What do the energy absorbing bases do? (I did a search, but it came up with a LOT of tether info. . .of course)

I didn't understand what they did last year, either, lol....maybe they crush in a little in a side impact so the kiddo doesn't slam into the side? I'm totally guessing....:rolleyes:

If you view the slides using OO, you can click on the photos and enlarge them! Just press shift as you do it to keep them from stretching funny as you click and drag on of the corner boxes to make the picture larger. :)
