Is this Safe?

I have decided to get DS2 a Radian 65 and I was looking around Sunshine kids website and found this

It said it was crash tested but I also read that the Mighty Tite was crash tested. I know that the MT isn't safe but does anyone know if this is. I mainly want it to protect the backseat upholstery from DS2 feet(he is RF). Is there something else that I can use?

No that is really thick and will provide a false sense of security on the tightness of your install. You can use a towel for under your seat if you have too. That has been approved for use.

You can drape a towel over a bench/sedan seat to protect it from his shoes OR, if you have bucket seats, you can use an old T-shirt.

Others have found that an old apron works well.

I love how Sunshine Kids makes all these aftermarket products but then say "You can't use them with a Sunshine Kids Radian". Why do they make a product and say "It's crash tested!" but not with our seats. So, It's magically safe for other manufactures that don't even make it but not theirs.

The best option that I have seen for a seat (especially captain chairs) is an apron! The neck goes around the head rest, and the ties just tie around the seat.

Thanks for the ideas. Now that DS2 is walking everywhere his shoes get dirty. DH is in agreement with me about the RF but he is also concerned about the upholstery

Sunshine Kids really says you can't use their stuff with their seats? Is it in the manual or what?
