yes... that is definitely purple... it reminds me of the travel system pattern that was a big seller with the metrolite for a good long time (that's what you are thinking of Monstah). FINALLY... gender neutral and full of color... sure, it's not bright, but I'm happy

I just bought this! I will post IRL pictures tomorrow when the babe is up to model for me. I hope insurance pays for it (we had an accident and had to find a replacement seat for *near* the same price as our infant seat). I assume our infant seat was worth around $110 and this ended up being $138. They better pay it so I can keep this seat!!
