I am trying to figure out what to do as the new carseat has 2 top tether straps but I only have 1 tether loop in my 2012 Chev Silverado. I have tried contacting Chevrolet unsuccessfully and also Britax but can't get through. Does anyone know if you can attach 2 tethers to one fabric tether loop or if there are any other approved hoops to attach the tethers to?

Generally in a truck with the fabric loops you route the tether THROUGH the loop behind the carseat and attach it to the next loop over, since the loop directly behind the carseat is positioned too close to the shell to allow for proper tightening. For the dual tethers, it's physically possible to spread the hooks out so that there the webbing goes through the center position loop and the hooks hook to both outboard loops, but I don't know if it's approved or not. If your child is under 80#, you can use only one tether, or you can place the carseat in the front seat and use two of the rear seat loops as tether anchors.
