Install Maxi-Cosi Pria 70 RF in a Lexus RX350

Hi All~ I have been a long time reader and thought I had digested enough information to be able to install my Pria correctly, but I'm not sure. I have a 2011 Lexus RX 350 and have the Pria install RF in the middle seat for my 10 1/2 month old daughter. I don't have Latch in the middle, so it's installed with a seatbelt. My concern is that it is uneven. The seatbelt is pulling up on one side. (Pix below).
I took it in to have it installed by a tech and they did it the same way. Over a few weeks, it was leaning so far over, that I undid it and tried again. This time, I put a rolled up towel underneath to help with the level.
I'm really worried I've done it incorrectly. I would really prefer to have her in the middle. Help!

You've not done anything wrong, but the towel is used to achieve a more reclined seat, not help with tipping. So I'd remove that.

You've got three options here. When it tips (up to 20º is safe), reinstall it. Just as you've already done. It'll be a minute or so every few weeks Or use a locking clip so you can leave the shoulder belt unlocked and it won't tip. That may be several minutes of frustration now, but then you're done. Or put it on the side with LATCH. Those are the three options.

Oh, I edited your images so that they're links. They were simply huge, so I made them so people didn't need to have the huge images if they didn't want/need to see them. Your issue is a fairly common one, and you described it so well, people may not need to see the pictures.

Hi there! I know this is an old message, but I have a Lexus RX330 and was considering purchasing the Pria 70, so I was curious as to how you ended up fixing the installation issue and if you are still happy with your purchase? I, like you, would prefer installing RF in the center. Thanks!
