Immediate Help needed! B-safe and aton side by side in a 2003 civic?

I just installed my sister's b-safe in the center of her civic and my aton 2 outboard. The bases could be installed without touching each other, but the seats themselves touch when I clicked them in. Is that okay or do I have to move her seat outboard?

If the way I have done it is not safe, any tips for getting her seat installed in the center with mine outboard? Or is it not possible in this vehicle?

When you put the carriers onto the bases do they force the seats apart -- do the bases shift at all? It's okay if they touch. If in doubt, or one is forcing the other to twist or shift then I'd move them both outboard. Are you installing the outboard seat with the seat belt? I know in my 03 Civic there's a bit of a bolster at the edge of the outboard seat that would force that seat to be at a bit of an angle.
