So I just saw a Size4me 70 sitting by itself at Target... with a clearance sticker on it.

Completely unopened and didn't even seem to have any website shipping labels on it I didn't think this was something they were carrying and I also didn't see a display.

I did the only rational thing I could think of and threw it in a cart

I paid $124 for it. Deal or not?

It looks cool and I'm LOVING the LATCH anchors on it. I literally played with it for 2 minutes and then came in the house. I haven't even installed it yet but will probably check it out in the morning.

Decent deal but not the greatest. Some people have been finding them marked down to $58 lately.

Ahhh ok. So I was just reading the other thread and I guess there's something weird going on with these seats then. I don't know anything about it yet other than it's brand new and a decent seat... I knew it was just hitting shelves and didn't expect to see one with a red sticker.

It's a blue/grey color and not my cup of tea. I won't be keeping it- I have a car seat junkie friend in town who will want it, or I'll return it. I've literally just opened the box to check it out but it doesn't seem all that great for my needs.

Most stores did one more final markdown two weeks ago. I'd guess they just havebt scanned that seat again with the markdown gun. I had to ask at my Target since they were still marked $124 but people here were saying they were getting them for $54.

Considering you didn't pay full price, i would say you got a deal. That's what I paid for mine, too.

So I returned it after asking a friend if she wanted it because I just don't care for it for Olivia.

So you're saying if I were to go back and ask then to scan it, it may be marked down to $54?

If that's the case, I'll go try to find a second one for my friend who has 8 month old twins. She got two $77 MyRides a few months ago but they'll need another set of convertibles for the other car and that would be awesome.

Off to check the "ghetto" Target stores I always seem to score at those.

I was there on Monday during baby product markdowns they were marked $124. I asked the associate to scan it because I had heard they were marked down to $54 at other Targets. She scanned them and said yes they were marked down to $54 and that was their final markdown. Not sure if you can ask at guest services if they can check or if you'd have better luck waiting until Monday.
