HUGS on Roundabout?

Does anyone know if Britax would allow you to use HUGS on the original RA (40 lbs limit)? My friend's tiny 2 yr old is still rear-facing in it (yes, he fits!), and he's a houdini. I'm sure that the straps are not always being tightened down enough, but even when they are tighter, he's pushing down the chest clip and wiggling out.

I'm thinking if they would allow the HUGS on it, it would slow him down a bit. And, of course, we're going to meet up and I'll check her seats/installs/kiddo in them, etc.

I would definitely call Britax on that one. I don't see what they could hurt, but you never know.

I'm fairly certain the answer in no, but I don't remember why. It may just be that it was never tested that way. I'd call Britax and ask for certain though.
