Question How long will an Evenflo Tribute last rear facing?

DD2 is currently in a Triumph 5 (exp. 9-'12) and is happily rear facing, however the harness knobs make it a pain to get her out of the seat rfing (DH did mention turning her around, but I said no). I just saw that both Target and Amazon have the Tribute on sale right now for less than $60 so I was wondering if I should just pick one up.

DD2 is 33" tall, 24lbs., and 18 mos. old. FWIW if we keep her in the Triumph until it expires she'll then move to a Britax Frontier 80, and she'll be 2 yrs., 5 mos. old then.

Could I expect to at least get 18 mos. out of the seat either rfing or ffing?

Thanks so much!

The Tribute is a fairly short seat in terms of top harness slots and shell height. Your dd isn't all that tall for her age, so I'm guessing she'd have about 3 or 4" of growing room until her head was within 1" of the top of the shell - depending on how she's proportioned anyways.

As to whether that would get her another 18 months, it's really hard to say. Does she carry her height in her body or her legs? I know my ds would've completely outgrown the tribute by height both rf'ing and ff'ing before 3yrs old - but he's also very long in the body.

What about buying a Scenera at Walmart or Target? From what I've read you can pick that up for around $40. It would last her until she could go in to a Frontier anyways.

Thank you for your input. The Tribute is $49 on Amazon right now, but after poking around on Baby Bargains someone posted that wayfair.com (formerly CSN Stores) had returned Britax RA 55s for $100 so I ended up just getting one of those. I figured for $50 more I'd get a plusher seat, and it would last until she was at least 5, if not 6 or I could resell for a decent price.
