Well, I don't have pics of my nephew in the MA, but for comparisons, my son is 42" tall and this kid(the one on the right) is way taller than him. He still fits in his MA. He'll be outgrowing it soon, but he fits..

He'll be 6 in about 2 weeks.

Oh, and of course, my son fits in it. His stats are in my siggy. He doesn't use it though. I gave it to a friend of mine..

we moved dd out of her MAs at age 4 (Sept. 07).....she was about 44" and 44 lbs, but had always been long-torsoed.....I think her legs are starting to catch up with the rest of her now....

she rides in a Regent with harness 2nd from top slots (1/2 " below)

she is 4.5 now and is about 45.5" tall and 47 lbs.

she is the tallest one in her preschool class, and the only one that still rides in a harnessed seat.....OMG....does it irk me!!

Molly will be 7 in june and she still fit in her DC when I put her in her regent last month. She was almost even with the top slots.

Your DD sounds very similar to my oldest DD, who outgrew a MA by height around age 4.5 and just over 40 lbs. and 41/42" tall, all torso. :) She used the second slots from the top in the Regent from the time she outgrew the MA until just recently when she needed to move up to Regent's top slots at age 6.

I must hunt Dana down and steal that cover! I don't even have a girl yet and I want that cover! :p

I am hoping to get another year out of it with Connor who is 3. I am keeping my fingers crossed. He is currently 35# and 38". We just recently moved up to the top slots. :(

I have already decided that if the folks here like it when they get theirs, a Frontier will be in our future. I just refuse to put my 4 year in a booster even part time.

DS, would still fit at 8 yrs, 54#, and 54" but the crotch depth is irritating for him.

DD2 outgrew it at 5 yrs 8 months and 65#. She was still at least an inch below the top slot.

We do not have an MA but I tried the almost 5-year-old I watch in one at the store... she's a tiny but tall kid, only 31 lbs, so I could actually still RF her in the MA! If she were FF she would be close to outgrowing it by height, her shoulders are just above the second set of harness slats FROM THE TOP, so FF she would need the top slats. But, long story short... she's almost FIVE. Seat would be almost expired if I had bought it when she was born, by the time she outgrew it!
