Honda, Radian, and Latch Limits

Hondas have 40 pound latch limit, right? Oliver just passed up 40 pounds, so I guess I have to switch him over to seatbelt install. I am not thrilled with this because I love the latch on our Diono Radian RXT.

Did I read somewhere once that people were comfortable using SuperLatch beyond the 40 pounds?

Diono says that you can use SuperLATCH for children of any weight as long as your vehicle was manufactured after September 1, 2005. (Or something like that. I always get the date wrong. Someone will confirm/correct me.)

Although I believe the anchors and connectors will probably hold, I'm not comfortable ignoring the manufacturer's instructions. You'll have to make your own decision.
