The BabyTrend triple is a POC IMHO. You can't steer it worth a darn ... esp once kids get heavier.

ITA about either the Foundations Quad, (though it's too wide for doorways IIRC), or the Triple (though like most tandem [front to back style] strollers it's a beast to steer.

I had a friend with a Triplette and the dismantling aspect of it (seats must be taken off each time, then the frame folds) was very difficult for her in Canada's cold wintertime.

Honestly, I'd get a Valco double with add-on seat, and footboard on the back. I'd lay the babies together in 1 seat for as long as possible, put the 4y/o in the seat next to the babies, the 2y/o in the add-on seat, and have the 5y/o ride on the footboard. I'd get a BabyBjorn (or whatever) once the twins couldn't lay together. I wouldn't think twice actually. :twocents:

I had a Peg Perego Triplette, before the Valco. I had the HARDEST time trying to push it with kids over 1yr in it. ROYAL PITA! I sold it to help fund the Valco, and it was the best decision I ever made.

Okay, I have the valco double with toddler seat also, LOVE IT!!!! I actually sold my beloved Mac Twin Traveller, because it just never got used anymore! So, I've just got the Valco and the Infinity now.

When I was a nanny, the family had a double peg. That was the worst thing to push!! I couldn't imagine pushing the triple! If you were on any incline/hill at all, it was just the worst. At the zoo it nearly tipped over with the girls in it! After that incident, I never used it again.

I wouldn't recommend the Baby Jogger, unless they are never going inside anywhere. IIRC, that has the seats 3 across.

My votes are for the Valco double with toddler seat or ABC twin (if available in Canada).

Any cheaper choices they have nixed because they won't sling a baby or use 2 strollers. The could have done the peg 60/40 with a baby and 2yo, push the other baby in their current stroller and still use the infant seats.
