Help with Two Carseat needs

Hello,

Baby is growing out of her infant seat and we have two very important considerations for a convertible.

1. It has to be easy to travel with. We had one of those 25 lb. fold up ones with our 7 year old and I think I would prefer lighter weight. We are talking several times a year traveling as the only adult, 18 hour plane rides + changing planes, layovers, etc.

2. We live in South Florida. It is hot. It is so freaking hot I don't now why any people actual live here.

So, I need a cross between good travel and something that isn't going to give the baby heatstroke instantly.

Any ideas?

Can you tell us a little more about your situation. How old is your lo and what is the height and weight? Do you have a budget? What type of car do you drive? What are your rf goals?
