Help with new Nautilus

Hi there,
Just got a new Nautilus and its a bit different then my MyRide65. Few questions:

The body support pad can go for my 3 year old, right? I think I read that unless I'm using the bottom slot, to remove it?

What's with the Recline options?? Which do I want it on??

What's the black little strap with red plactic piece that came in the bag with the instruction manual for? I can't figure that one out or see it used in the manual.

You don't need the body support pad

The weird strap with the red clip is a belt positioner for when you use the seat as a low back booster, so you probably won't need that for a while just keep it with your manual and other accessories.

As for the recline, I'm sure someone else can answer, I can't remember 100% I've only installed the Nautilus once...

I know on my Frontier the recline bar has to be forward for harness mode and back for booster mode so it may be something similar. It should say in your manual under the instructions for harnessed mode install.

If I remember correctly, the recline(IMO so it reclines so little it's ridiculous) can be on either for harness mode. Not sure on booster mode(which is a ways away for you). I do have have a 2009 model though so things may have changed.

Use whichever recline makes the back of the Nautilus flush with your vehicle seat.
