HBB in 2006 Sienna 3rd row

I am moving my 7yo DS (53 pounds, 49 or so inches) from a harnessed Radian RXT in the 2nd row to a HBB in the 3rd row. I know my Radian can be used as a HBB but we tried and it was a fail. The belt did not slide AT ALL.

He will be seated on the passenger side against the window with the seatbelt that comes kind of from the top of the car, not the side.

I am considering the Britax Parkway SGL and the Diono Monterey. I would also consider the Chicco Kidfit. I want a latched seat and one tall enough to last.

1. Any suggestions as to which of these seats fit best in that seating position and work best with the angle of the seat belt?

2. Am I missing a better option for a booster? He really prefers a plush seat and did not care for any of the ones he sat in at Target except the Kidfit. Price is sort of not a concern, but would prefer to stay in the less than $150 range. Safety and comfort trump price, though! I am willing to order online.

Hi there.

All seats pass the same safety tests, so you don't need to spend more to get safety.

The KidFit is short. My 46" short/average torsoed six year old should get to eight in high back mode. The Parkway and Monterey are much taller.

The Diono Cambria is another option.

We have an 04 Sienna so same body style and we switched my DD from a Harnessed Radian to a Graco Turbo SS. She sits in the same spot,passenger 3rd row. It's not as high end as the ones you mentioned but worked great. DD just outgrew the high back portion at 9y5m.
