Has the size of the Regents changed ??

I've finally made my decision to buy a Regent. *good feeling*
So then I went to shop around and found a great deal at BabyAge *great feeling!* But then I noticed that the dimensions listed were much different than the seat dimensions listed on the Britax website! *confused feeling*

So I called Britax and the guy tells me all Regents are 30 inches in height.
But could it be true that last year models really are 38 inches as listed on 2 other reputable webites ??? If so, then I don't think a Regent would fit in my car. Does anyone know ???? Thanks for any help!!

Your best bet would be to find a local store to try the seat out in your vehicle before ordering it online. That way you'd know for certain if you were able to install it in your vehicle.

What type of vehicle is it going in to? It's possible some others might have experience with installing a regent in your vehicle.

As for size, I'm not sure what the measurements are. The dimensions haven't had an 8" change in the last year though, so I'm not sure what's going on - it could be one is seat dimensions and one is shipping dimensions though.

OK, just ran out to the car for you. My 9/27/07 Regent is 30 inches tall from the bottom to the top. It is a beast but I love it.

I bet 38" is the exterior height of the box for shipping purposes..since the top slot is only 19.1 inches and the seatback isn't twice as high as that, I suspect the PP's measurement of 30 is correct :thumbsup:

It will be going into the center seat of my 2000 Taurus. I sure hope it fits in the center, otherwise I may be on the hunt again!

Not sure of the difference in the cars but the Regent fits fine in my brothers '06 Ford Focus!

you will prob have to use the short belt path but yeah ... it will fit :thumbsup:
