Question Harness straps were cleaned with bleach... time for a new seat??

Our 2yo threw up in her Chicco NextFit this morning. When cleaning, bleach was used on the straps, even though the instruction manual specifically says not to. I don't see anywhere to order replacement straps and Chicco customer service is closed until monday, so should we just throw out the whole seat and get a new one?

Do you have a spare seat you can use for the time being? I do not believe the harness straps are replaceable with the NextFit so you will most likely need to purchase a new seat.

Call Chicco customer service. I'm pretty sure the harness straps on the NF are replaceable now. It's not going to be as easy as replacing straps on the KeyFit but from what I understand they now have detailed instructions on how to accomplish this. Good luck!
