Harness cleaning

How many times is ok to clean harness before worry of serious break down, as in need to replace? We've had our TFP for about 3 years now and it's been cleaned a few times from vomit and spills. I'd say 5-6 at least? This is a cleaning wipe rub down and dry out. I am currently doing one now. We are going on a 12 hour road trip and want to be sure the straps are ok. Thanks!

You might have better luck calling Tomy/ First Years directly about this issue.

Ok. Well, we leave in the morning and I'm unsure if baby wipes and Lysol type wipes were ok to use. I'm thinking it has only been 2, maybe 3 times on this seat actually.

I would think a few wipes with a baby wipe would be ok, but I don't know about lysol/bleach wipes.

What does your manual say for cleaning instructions? I thought most said something like wiping it with a damp cloth (damp with water only) but I'd check to be sure.

I wouldn't be comfortable using Lysol wipes on a harness. I'm not particularly comfortable with baby wipes either but I'd think they were quite a bit milder.

Of course. Just because I'm leaving in the morning. They were Up&Up (target) disinfecting wipes, bleach and alcohol free.
