Good back-up seat?

As our daughter outgrows her infant seat, we need to start thinking about a back-up seat for our '98 Honda Accord. Main seat is a Nextfit. We'd like to ERF. Needs to be easy to install with a seatbelt, since the car doesn't have LATCH. I haven't tried to install anything in it (besides the Aton w/o the base) yet, so I don't know what fits.

The kid is 12 months, 17 lbs 12 oz, 28 inches long with a longish torso. I think her seated shoulder height is 11".

What would you do? Seat will be used VERY infrequently, so something that will last a long time is preferable.

Have you considered an Evenflo Sureride? Those are very affordable and last a really long time. If you are ok with spending a little more a Graco Size4me is a great choice too.

I am considering the Sureride. Any ideas about how it would fit in the Accord? I haven't seen it at BRU, and that's usually my go-to place for trying out seats...

Yeah, I would do Sureride. For reference sake it takes up about the same amount of room as a MyRide, or about 2" more space than a Nextfit.
