"General Motors is recalling more than 300,000 Chevrolet Impala sedans because the seat belts may fail to restrain people in the front seats during a crash, according to the Associated Press.
The recall affects Impalas from the 2009 and 2010 model years." (http://content.usatoday.com/communi...at-belt-may-come-loose/1?loc=interstitialskip)
"If an affected vehicle experiences a crash, the belt portion could potentially separate and limit its protection, said Alan Adler, a GM spokesman.
If you own one of these vehicles, expect a formal notification in the mail around Oct. 25 to bring in the vehicle for the free inspection." (http://auto.ocregister.com/2010/10/...2000-chevy-impala-cars-over-seat-belts/44104/)
