FT: Britax RA55

As much as I really love this seat, I have an EEUC (rode in maybe 5 times) RA55 (Davenport, the gray one) that I would love to trade with something that has a lower profile. Dh and I both have a hard time getting DD into her seat and buckled because of the high sides and the narrow-ness of the backseat. We have it installed RF in a Dodge Ram extended cab and because the truck is so tall, I really have a hard time. : I'm short...

I'm thinking that a CA65 would probably be the best option for us, but try me.

I'd love the black one with the white swirlies (I have no idea what it's called....is it O2?) Dh's interior is gray and so he wants something that coordinates the LX feature is a must because of the way the seats are. I wish we had kept our Ford Supercrew, best truck for carseats.

I just had to say I totally agree with you about the Ford Supercrew, my fav truck! I have a Petal XTSL Radian, but its pink and brown and your DH probably wouldn't care for gray and brown together.

I may have a ca 65 in rio. Have to check and see if the ra55 fits where I need it in the van and how much room a would have in it.

Unfortunately the seat is too expensive to ship. When i went to get a quote last week i was told that the irregular box I had would cost extra to ship so I had to use their 28" box and the cost of shipping was just too much, even parcel post was crazy expensive. I'm just going to try to sell it locally and buy a CA 65 or something else that has a lower profile.
