FR 85 ?

I just flipped my 3 yr 2 mo old FFing today. I put him in a FR 85. it install so fast in my van! Love it!

When I went to get him out, I noticed he was slipping forward. His bottom was way out from the back of the seat? What would cause this?

There are different crotch slot positions. Could it be too far out for him?

Thanks.....I have it in the middle. I'll try it in the inner most slot in a minute and see if it helps.

I have the recline block flipped forward for comfort, should I try it back? Could that cause slipping?

It has to be flipped forward in harness mode.

Ok, thank you. I'll go out and try the buckle strap then. I want this to work as he loves the seat. Today was his first FFng ride.

Where should the strap becoming out of? Under him?

The manual says the closest to but not under the child for the buckle position. I'd guess he's fine on the middle slot and he's just sliding forward because the seat is so deep he's trying to bend his legs at the end. Maybe see if he's more comfortable crossing his legs. Otherwise I wouldn't worry about it. My 5.5yo still slouches a little with the buckle in the middle slot but it doesn't affect the harness fit or tightness.

I moved it inwards, but it's definitely under him then. I'll put it back in the middle. Your right, It did not effect harness tightness.
