My husband has a truck with no back seat. He wants to be able to take my 4 year old son in it. He uses car seat and it is front facing, airbag is off. Is this safe? It is a Ford truck 2000

Is there a top tether there? I'd consider that very important.

Otherwise a harnessed four year old in the front seat of a truck is what you would do there if your husband had to drive him around. The airbag can be on or off.
