It still has the same unpadded padding in the butt as every other Graco, so no loss, IMO. (Seeing it next to the Chicco is amazing the difference, it's so so hard, the Chicco is so so soft...I'm just sad you are so far from Target!!!)

Good to know! Does the chicco have good side impact protection? I love the performance booster in that respect. I tried him in it. Seatbelt fit is good. But if his knees bend, his back is nearly 2" from the back.

I know what you mean! Both my kids still sleep in the car, most often DD. She is such a noodle when she's asleep! We didn't keep the KidFit, though. So, I'm afraid I don't have a sleep report. Sorry!

My skinny DN fits well in the Harmony Transit (though I don't like this seat for long trips because of the fact he can't sit in it properly if he falls asleep) and the Recaro Vivo. Now that he's 45 pounds, I use the Britax Parkway for him.

My 9yo son rides in a Kid Fit and sleeps very well in it. I will admit he has never been a slumper, so it may not be the best indicator for all kids. He just tilted his head gently against the wing and fell right asleep with excellent upright position in both head and torso. Should have snapped a pic!

Maxi-Cosi Rodifix. My slim sleepy super flopper does not flop a bit in this one! It's definitely my new favorite and was able to get it $100 off with a bit of searching.
