Evenflo Big Kid Backless...

Can this booster be used with one or both armrest up? I am trying to figure out a three across situation and I am wondering if it would be easier if the armrest closest to the neighboring seat was up at all times.

The armrests have to both be down when in use, the pivot is just for ease in buckling. The belt can slide up too far in a crash if they are left up when in use.
If you need something narrower, have you tried the Harmony backless? They are at Walmart for $13.50 and I find they play very well in most 3 across and tight spots (not all though).

Thanks for the info! I do have the Harmony Literider, but my DD still has a hard time buckling the seat. Right now I have a 93 Camry with a Literider, a ff'ing MA, and a BG. Tomorrow I will be getting a FR85 to replace the MA so I need to find a suitable booster to possibly replace the Literider. Do you think the Big Kid would work better? Or maybe a Harmony Cruz?
