After months of searching for the perfect seat, I've realized that in order for any to work properly, I've got to get the one that my mother can adjust.
Can anyone recommend a good seat for a tall (44"/40+lb) almost 3.5yo that is easy to get a good, secure fit? She's incapable of getting the straps tight enough on the Boulevard. The other day I could fit my whole hand through after she put him in.
Her car is a 2005 Subaru Outback, ideally the middle seat will be used with a belt/tether. I will install the seat, that I'm not worried about. She just needs to strap him in securely, even though she just transports him the 15miles to and from our houses. No amount of practice seems to do the trick, so I'm think that thre has to be something easier than the Boulevard.
Seems he only has room to really grow into the Regent and the Safeguard CS. Dare I consider any 5-pt boosters - the Go? - for him? Are they any easier to get a good fit?
Thanks,
Maeve
