Double Stroller for Honda Civic Trunk?

I have 6 month old twins that are currently using Baby Trend Flex Loc carseats. Our stroller is the Baby Trend Snap n Go double. 1 of the twins is a half a pound from being too large for the carseat (22 lbs is the limit, should have went with the models where 30 is the limit...ugh) so we won't be using the stroller much longer.

My mother bought a Graco Quattro Tour Duo for the twins but it will not fit in the trunk of my 2007 Honda Civic. Can anyone recommend a more compact double stroller (that isn't 700 dollars!!) that should fit??? Any experience with this??

I would think the Maclaren twin triumph or techno would be a good fit. They come up often on my craigslist for around $150. Sometimes more, sometimes less.

I haven't tried the Baby Jogger Citi Double in my Civic's trunk, but I have fit a single, plus a Snap N Go, a Maclaren Quest, and two folding chairs, so I can't imagine that the double Baby Jogger wouldn't fit.

I love my bumbleride indie twin, it is pretty compact for storage. I think it would be great for twins, or babies close in age. I'm going to sell mine though because my 3.5 year old and 1 year old fight too easily side by side. It has a great ride, seperate recline and sunshades, great basket, so see if you can find one used or on sale =)

I had a Civic before I had carseats but i know the trunk was bigger than the trunk of the older Elantra I drive now. With that said, I've had a Graco Duoglider in there(nothing awesome about it but its a functional stroller), a Kolcraft Contours Options Double, and also a double jogger(dont remember the brand) successfully in my trunk.

In case you haven't already done so, make sure to try loading the stroller with the upside down(ie: wheels facing up, seats facing down). this seems to work way better in my car for most strollers.

I can get a double mac and my BJCMD in my civic coupe trunk. The B-ready gives me more trouble than the doubles. LOL
