Does the MA install on a Australian Plane??

Just wondering if the MA fits into a Virgin/Quantas Australian planes?? My sister will be traveling from Sydney to the Gold Coast every few weeks so she wants her DD safe but have no idea about the australian regulations and can't seem to find any on the internet.
Has anyone got ant clues??? or can point me in the right direction as I can't seem to get on the britax website to get any information in regards to Australian air travel with US car seats.

You/she will need to know the exact type of aircraft, not just the airline. Once you know that, check out seatguru:

FYI, just b/c you are told your flight will be on a certain aircraft when you book, d/n mean that you will necessarily get that aircraft when you fly. Airlines code share (with other airlines), switch aircraft, etc..

I would think she'd be OK with a MA, but she really won't know until she tries it.

Also, Quantas requires her to get her seat pre-approved at least 24hrs in advance, from a special Quantas office (not at the airport or gate).

Britax considers their carseats appropriate for air travel. It's the individual airlines that will decide whether they're allowed or not.
