In Search Of DisneyWorld books, maps, trinkets, etc.

We are taking the kids to Disney World in October and are planning on suprising them the next time they are here the first week of July. So I am looking for some things to really show them what Disney is/has to get them excited to go.

Mya and Eli are both obsessed with maps. I swear after we go to the zoo we spend hours sitting around looking at the maps afterwards. Mya will collect them from the mall, shopping centers, etc. So maps or books with maps would be great. Or any other books/pamphlets with lots of pictures. Or anything else they might need to be 'surprised' with.

I can't spend a whole bunch, since I will be giving them to M&E to take home and they will get lost, etc., but let me know what you got and how much!

Have you ordered the free vacation planning DVD from Disney's website? It has clips from all the parks and hotels. (And they sometimes send special offers/discount codes, too.)

I can collect a bunch of maps etc.

;-)

I can also run into Cast Connection and grab stuff super cheap for them (park merchandise) at like 75-90% off....

I would love maps! And since you are familiar with Disney whatever a 4 and 6.5 year old would need/love. I can paypal you some $ beforehand.

Yep! I already have it to watch and am going to have them help me order the free maps, that way they can each have 2 with whatever they want.

I'm probably not driving up to Orlando this weekend but I'll be up there within the next two weeks- is that cool? Ill let you know when.

I'm going to be working a shift or two anyways so it's no big deal at all to grab some stuff. Cast Connection is literally *in* the Cast parking lot at MK and maps are everywhere

And you can find lots of youtube videos to show them things like rides, etc. This was helpful for my anxious then-3 year old...who loves rides but gets nervous about them until he sees it.
