Dilema - Looking for a good booster

I have a Cosco booster that is similar. Was $13 at Target.

thanks guys I will look into those and we will be talking about booster safety for the next few months and try it out when he turns 4 to see how it goes. I think he will be able to stay upright he is pretty safety conscious. Mostly just afraid. My kids never try to get out of their car seat or mess with them, but I showed them videos of car crashes to scare them, and it worked. Now they always want to be safe.

I have a friend that was stationed in germany and has a car seat she traveled back here with on the plane for her 7 year old. It is an EU seat and doesn't have a chest clip.

It turns into a booster.

If Lucas fits could I use this? I would feel soo much better if I could get him into a harness.

Although that seat isn't technically legal to use, I think I would make the parental decision to use that (provided he fits) instead of a backless booster for a 3 year old.

she says it is a caretero falcon if I am interested. She has all the parts and the manual and it was never in a crash.

I'm pretty sure that seat only harnesses to 40 lbs.
