Costco Alpha Omega Elite Convertible Installation Question

We have a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser SUV and a 2004 Toyota Matrix. After reading all of these threads, I think I am definitely going to return the seat.

The main reason is because I have to take out this seat at least once a week and transfer from car to car and if it going to be this hard to install every time, then I am not keeping this car seat. Plus, I have seen some of you say that it is best RF and mine is not that great RF so I am guessing FF is not going to be any better.

Albee baby here I come, hopefully they have not sold out of the FPSV yet!

Thanks for all of your help!

Toyota does NOT allow the use of center LATCH, the LATCH is only for the outboard positions. That may be part of the reason for a poor fit. But I won't discourage you from getting a FPSVD, it will last years longer, harnessed! :)

Since the FPSVD is cheaper then the AOE you are returning why don't you get a $40 Scenera for a spare or for the other vehicle? It would be a lot easier doing that then switching seats all the time plus you could install it, have the install checked by a tech and know it is right

I agree with Jewels on picking up a Scenera for the other car. The more we uninstall and reinstall, the more chances of a mistake being made. The average carseat install has 3 potentially fatal errors, so why not lessen the chances of that happening by getting carseats for any car that is used often?
