Is it ok for the base of a Britax (or any convertible) to hang over the sides of the center seat in a 2014 Odyssey (rear facing?) It's in wide mode. There is about an 1-2 inches of overhang on each side. Thanks.

Can you post a picture of what you are seeing? I just want to make sure we understand what you mean. 
If you have two outboard seats onto which the car seat is overlapping, and there are no other seats in those positions, it is fine for the seat to not fit exactly in the center. That's if I am understanding what you mean, of course.

Wide mode creates like 2 inches of room on either side of the center seat. Wouldn't be touching the outboard seats at all.
I installed my MA70 there and noticed some overhang but not enough to concern me. The install was super stable with no movement whatsoever. Let me see if I have a pic
