Question Convertible Car Seat for 2-door Chevy Blazer

Hello everyone! I'm new!

I have a 13mo daughter who usually uses a Britax Blvd 70 CS in my car (4-door Mercury Milan). My mother has a Graco Size4Me in her car (4-door Ford Fusion), and my MIL has a Graco MyRide 65. I'm familiar with different kinds of car seats, and I really want to maximize the use of a car seat.

My husband has a 2003 2-door Chevy Blazer, and I'm nervous about putting my daughter in a car seat in his vehicle. But it's time that we get something that we can use in his car (no new car for hubby any time soon), so that he can take my daughter to the doctor or to a grandparent's home, etc.

I have no idea what to get, and I'm not sure what would even fit in a 2-door vehicle. It does have LATCH, and it may be re-installed often due to however we're using the Blazer.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I am on a strict budget unfortunately, and would prefer to keep the purchase under $200. If the Graco MyRide 65 or Size4Me is recommended, please let me know!

THANK YOU!
Steph

I'm considering the Evenflo brand, but my only concern is how big its footprint is in the backseat of our Blazer. It's a 2-door, and I don't want the back of the car seat to be too far forward and require the front passenger seat to be too close to the dashboard.

Anyone have a similar problem?

The shape of the shell of the Triumph allows the front seats to be farther back then you would think.

I had an Evenflo Triupmh 65 rear facing in the center of my 2008 Malibu and I could put both of my front seats all the way back without either of them touching the Triumph.

I think the Triumph or Momentum will take up less space front to back than the MyRide. We had a very easy time w/the Triumph in small cars. Also, it's not as deep as the MyRide, which is really helpful when putting little ones in rearfacing in a small back seat.
