Hi:

We are flying to South Asia soon.
There are 4 of us.
DS1 is 3 years 7 months, 41 inch, 35 lbs
DS2 is 1 year 3 months, 30.5 inches

We are flying in these planes
Airbus 330-300
Boeing 747
Boeing 777-300ER
Airbus 330-200

We have the middle 4 seats in each flight. Our current plan is to buy Combi Coccoro and Evenflo Maestro in the middle two seats and wiith us seating on each side. Will Cocorro RF and Evenflo FF install next to each other?

Based on these planes do you have a suggestion for the type of seat carrier we can buy. We were considering gogokidz but I read in these forums that we can only buy the smallest gogokidz carrier as the larger one will not fit through the aisle.

Does Evenflo Maestro tilt?
Do we need to buy a travel pillow to help DS1 sleep in Evenflo FF seat?
Let us know if you have any recommendations for a travel pillow.

I am sure that DS2 will sleep well in a Coccoro but not sure about DS1 sleep well in Maestro. We also plan to use the seats while traveling in our destination so ease of use is important.

We haven't purchased the seats or the carrier yet. If there are other seats that may work better we are open to it even if they are more expensive. If kids are comfortable we may be able to rest in 18 hour flight. These seats will be used for travel mostly and occasionally in our 3rd car.

Will Britax roundabout 55 be a better travel seat than Maestro and will install FF next to Coccoro? I am fine with additional cost and a few more pounds of weight if it is more comfortable and easier to use.

Thanks

My guess is they'd be fine next to each other as they're both fairly narrow. The Maestro might spill a little into the Coccoro's seat, but probably not enough to interfere with the installation. The Roundabout is much larger and definitely would not be a good choice (plus, it's heavier.)
My cousin has slept fine in the Maestro for 2 years (since age 3.) It's his primary seat (he likes it much better than the Nautilus) and they've taken more than a few 2-3 day long travels. He's never needed a neck pillow, but bringing one along couldn't hurt.
They are both easy to install, but I don't believe Asia has locking seatbelts? So the Maestro would need to be installed using a metal locking clip (it comes with one), and the Coccoro has its own special blue plastic one it comes with. Definitely practice installing that way before you go. If the cars have ISOFIX (LATCH), you can install that way as well.
HTH!

ETA- sorry, can't help on the carriers (the Coccoro used to have its own stroller frame, not sure if it's still available.)

I think they would be fine. We did Evenflo Triumph Advance next to a Maestro no problem recently.

My kiddo didn't need a pillow with his Maestro. He just laid his head to the side just like in a regular car.

Maestro is super light, so I just used the tether to attach it to the handle of my stroller. I didn't need a cart. When we were boarding, we attached the tether to the clip, and slung it over our shoulders.
