Coccoro latch strap stuck

Our coccoro latch strap had gotten folded in two in the tightening/cinching mechanism. It has happened multiple times now and wondering what to do. My husband and I weren't able to get it fixed this morning. I really need to be able to use the seat on an uPcoming trip. I just bought it a few weeks ago on amazon. Should I call Combi?

Calling them might be appropriate if it's happening repeatedly, yes. In the mean time, installing with seatbelt is a good alternative. :)

I don't understand how this happened in the first place. Doesn't the plastic cover/shield on the back of the seat (between the chest harness belts and latch belt path) keep this from happening?

I just completed air travel using this seat, and didn't have any issues but want to be able to avoid your problem if possible. The only issue I had was sometimes the chest harness belts (when loosened) got caught on the plastic shield on the back of the seat, preventing the harness from being tightened until I freed the belt buckle/loop thingie from the edge of the shield.

I believe the original poster is talking about the LATCH strap (used to secure the seat to the car), not the harness adjuster strap. ETA: In other words, the LATCH belt webbing is stuck in the LATCH adjusting mechanism.

I have seen LATCH straps get folded over before. I imagine it happens when there's a "bunch" that gets pulled through.
