Century Smartfit ejections

Am new to the site; thanks for the service. I was curious to know if anyone had heard of Century rear-facing seats coming detached from a lapbelt and being ejected from a vehicle during a rollover. I have heard of such a thing occurring as a result of the open seatbelt hooks on the infant seat through which the seatbelt is fed. If this is a potential hazard, it would certainly make a difference in the type of seat I purchase. Thanks again.

I have not heard of this problem, but I don't dismisss that it is a possibility. If it has happened, there's a good chance an investigating officer had it reported to the NHTSA. You may call them, or search:
