How is the group set up in terms of privacy? I see it has the open/world icon on posts... does what I post there show up in my friends' feeds like with other open pages?

I am guessing it would be the same, so minimal privacy at the moment.

This could possibly be changed, but unfortunately it cannot be changed back due to facebook rules for groups over 250 members. So, for now anyway, I'd suggest not posting anything you don't want to appear on unwanted feeds. The community groups here are a lot better place for that sort of thing I suspect, though no place on the internet is immune from copy/paste or screenshot sharing:-( That, and it would be nice to keep people coming here so we don't lose everyone to facebook!

Yes, this is an OPEN group. No privacy should be assumed when posting there. It's definitely not the place to gripe about your neighbor's or sister-in-law's apparent total disregard for his or her kids' safety.

BUT - It *IS* a forum intended to encompass a broader group of vehicle safety topics. So it may appeal to people who don't even have small children in the home. At least, that's the hope. Now that we're back in business, please do invite your friends.

I think I've sent messages to everyone who dropped out, but some of those messages ended up filed in "Others" folders. So if you have any FB friends who you notice opted out of the group and have not signed up again, please do me a favor and re-add them (if you can) or at least message them? Thanks!
