Can these be puzzled this way?

I am trying to get 3 across in a Honda wagon 1995 .. .. We out a SureRide and a Radian side by side, but this is how they puzzled. The SureRide "lip" is over the Radian. It doesn't seem ok to me, but though I'd run it by someone who knows better htan me. It was a B messing with seats in there. :(
edit.. the middle is lap only... the seat on the other side is a bubblebum

Before you uninstall, can a tech chime in?

I'm pretty sure I've seen other three across installs like this that were okayed, so long as each seat is installed independently with less than an inch of movement at the belt path.

I'm not a tech but I've seen loads of three acrosses where the seats overlapped. That's fine as long as they're independently tight.

I recently emailed Britax about whether or not their car seats could touch car seats from other manufacturers. I meant to email other manufacturers too but haven't gotten around to it yet. I realize none of the seats you are asking about are Britax but this was their reply.

"The car seats can touch when installed as long as they are not trying to occupy the same space."

I will go ahead and email Diono and Evenflo and let you know what they say.

Are they independently tight? It looks like if you took out the Radian, the Sureride would be loose, but that might be a trick of the photo angle.

I do believe they were independently tight, but I can't say for certain. I only installed them once just to see how they would fit. It's my in-law's car, but they want to give it to us. I won't take it unless I can safely have my 3 children in there. Otherwise, it's pointless. The only other seat we have is a Britax Roundabout classic that my 3 year old has plenty of growing room in. We didn't try it in there simply because of it's size. I'm already not too happy about having my 9 year old in a Bubblebum (if we were to take the car). He currently rides in a Nautilus with the back on it. He's only 50 lbs. There is NO way to get another booster in there, though. This car does not have top tethers, but they can be installed. Wondering if we will have to get a second Diono. We got this one pictured for this purpose. We have a Frontier for my 7 year old, but that's not even an option in this car. LOL

*and before it's suggested, I won't put my 7 year old in a BubbleBum. Not comfortable with that at all.

My youngest is 3 1/2 and weighs close to 40 lbs. Even if I was to turn him back RF with the new Radian, it wouldn't last long and we'd be back at square one before we know it. I don't think my husband would fit very well in the driver's seat, either.

I know next to nothing about the Harmony. No stores around me carry it as far as I can tell. Is it a continuous harness like the SureRide? FYI, I hate the SureRide and the only reason we got it was because it allowed my son to rearface longer than the Roundabout did.

The universal consensus around here a year ago was that the MyRide overlapping the Radian (among other seats) was totally fine, provided they were independently installed.

My caveat is you MUST check for independent installs when they do this. If you can get them independently tight and verify by taking each out in turn, I'm ok with it.

Is the roundabout classic a 40 lb or the roundabout 50? If it's the 50, the radian and roundabout fit awesome together for puzzling purposes. The radian will slide behind the roundabout but irrc, they don't actually touch when puzzled.
