BRU Sale: MR65

Hello all,

The BRU website is currently selling the MR65 (Spiral and Sonata) for $160.97 + free shipping. However, I just called their customer service and they advised that the DOM is October 2009 :S I think they have a 6 year expiration date, but still not so good for me as I'm looking to get one of my DS' out of his infant seat pronto and would like to get more than 4 years out of it!

I think I also just missed Zeller's sale on the TF too (for my other DS and DD)... sigh.

Have you tried installing a MR forward facing in your vehicle? You may find you're not happy with the deep recline of it, and it may work best for you as only a rear facing seat.

Do you think you'd be able to just use the MR rear facing, sell it when it's outgrown and buy a forward facing only seat when DS is old enough?

Well that's disappointing. I was going to head there tomorrow to exchange my Maestro for a MR (it was on sale for $131 yesterday). Oh well, the Maestro is still going back and I'll just wait for another (better) sale.

I just bought the MR in Sonata and it's DOM is October 31st 2010. It's still 9m old, but whatever, 131.00 and I'll deal!

Oh ITA, I meant it was disappointing that the price had gone up $30 :thumbsdown: That's what I get for procrastinating.

If it helps you at all with the TF, Zellers will offer their sale prices for 2 weeks after a sale ends. You just needs to tell the clerk so that they can price adjust. They usually like you to bring in a flyer that shows the advertised price.

I dunno where u are but I saw the myrides at a few superstores for $100. They had HB turboboosters for $30 too. The recline in the myride ff is crazy.

I'm only planning to use it RF and then I'll sell it. My DD is only 22lbs @ 18mo and she's pretty short too. I think it'll last her a while still!
