Britax Roundabout 55, 2 questions :)

I am so excited that I have managed to score one of these seats over here, it is huge compared to the seats I am used to seeing!

So far it is awesome & takes up less room than the Swedish seat I was using but it will definitely be out grown sooner

Question 1 : do I have to use the lock-offs if my cars seat belt locks?

Question 2 : can I use the buckle in the forward slot, while rear facing? It comes out from under dd's bum and doesn't seem all that comfy and it makes it a bit hard to get the harness as tight as I would like, as the buckle tongs dig into her legs (and she is skinny, I can't imagine what they would be like on a toddler with padding).

Nope, you don't need the lockoffs.

If you move the strap forward you won't be able to get it and the seatbelt laying properly. That's why it has to be back rear facing with the seatbelt. I think it might have been approved rear facing with LATCH? Not as sure on that.

Part of the problem is that the seat belt is sitting on the buckle, so I will try without the lock offs and see if that makes a difference
