Britax Advocate Side Impact Cushions?

I just sold my sons Radian (Which I hated!) and I'm looking at getting another Britax because that is the only seat that I never have any problems with. The short shell of the current generations isn't a problem since he is TINY with a short torso. Anyhow, my question is about the side impact cushions on the Advocate? Will they make any difference if I generally install in the center? Should I just stick with the Boulevard or Pavilion? The space of the seat isn't a problem because he will be an only child.

Oh also, does anyone know if they're releasing the ARB for the G3s as well?

I'm not sure anyone can say the side impact cushions will make no difference, because you never know what kind of accident could occur. However, for a kiddo in a center position they're already in the further position from any impact. So it's less likely for the side cushions to be as important is if he were outboard. Personally I'd be totally fine with a Boulevard or Pavilion in that instance.

Can't answer about the ARB, sorry!

I don't think the ARB will be compatible with the retired G3s but will be available for the current G4s (possibly by end of November) and upcoming ClickTight convertibles (early 2015).
