Hi there, we just got a 2nd car (hand-me-down from mom and dad) and we would like to get a 2nd car seat for my 5yr old to use in it (it's a Volvo S60 4 door)
Right now he is in the Safety 1st Apex 65, but at his checkup on Dec 1st, he was 47" and 52lbs. Oh, we also have a 2 1/2 yr old that we would like to move into the Apex when he's ready, so that is why we are thinking of getting a booster for our 5yo's 2nd seat. I would continue to use the Apex as a booster if we weren't going to use it for my youngest.
I would prefer to have a high back booster, but I'm open to suggestions! Oh, we do not have LATCH in either car (bummer!).
